The Literature of the Bible is Superbly Excellent!
As a book, the Bible can be trusted as being the highest degree of literary work. Words used in the Bible came directly from the Creator, the origin of information that expresses His thoughts and wisdom to His created beings like humans. Words used by God Himself must be acknowledged and believed with our highest respect. They are pure!
PSALMS 12:6
The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
They are true!
JOHN 17:17
Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
They must be spoken by a preacher as they were spoken by God.
JEREMIAH 26:2
Thus saith the LORD; Stand in the court of the LORD’s house, and speak unto all the cities of Judah, which come to worship in the LORD’s house, all the words that I command thee to speak unto them; diminish not a word:
Even the Lord Jesus, though He is the Son, faithfully spoke God’s word!
JOHN 12:49
For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.
Inventing words or using man-made synonyms is an utter disrespect to God who originally chose the words that He speaks.
People seem to be irreverently choosing words or phrases other than the word used by God in a particular occasion. A good example is the word used in Matthew 16:18 when the Lord said "...upon this rock I will build "my church" or "ἐκκλησία" or "ekklēsia" (ek-klay-see'-ah) in Greek or " קהל" or "qâhâl" (kawhal) in Hebrew.
The community of God's people is called "the Church of God" in the Bible.
THE ACTS 20:28
Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.
But other people chose to be called "Jehovah's Witnesses", substituting the word "witnesses" to the word "church" used to describe God's congregation!
Others, although using the word "church," changed rebelliously the name "Church of God" to "Wesleyan Church" or "Presbyterian Church" or "Lutheran Church", etc.
A faithful servant of God must respect to use the word of God which God used in a particular occasion to show complete submission to His wisdom!
MATTHEW 4:4
But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
The reasons why the word “pope” is not found in the Bible are:
(1) There is no office in the church created by God as the office of the pope, and
(2) The Apostle Peter, which the Catholics allege to be the first pope, was never a pope!
I CORINTHIANS 12:28
And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.
If the office of the apostles is the first in the church, and Peter was one of the first apostles called by Christ, then it is apparent that the office of the Pope, which the Catholics invented, is non-existent in the Bible! The office of the pope is the most important office in the entire Catholic Church. He is the head of the entire organization.
How can the Catholic Church be the true church when the highest office in it is nowhere to be found in the Bible! Moreover, if the Catholic Church were the true church founded by the Lord Jesus Christ, “the gates of hell must not prevail against it!” Is this true in the office of the pope? We will let Catholic authorities answer.
The phrase, “most notorious” means there were so many notorious popes in the history of Roman Catholicism! Can anyone now prove that there really was an undisturbed and unbroken succession of power from the Apostle Peter up to the present pope? When the leaders of the Israelites became subject to the “gates of hell” (Gate is a passage to enter into a particular place, and evil is the gate of hell), God left them, and so there was no God with them.
II CHRONICLES 15:3
Now for a long season Israel hath been without the true God, and without a teaching priest, and without law.
Why? Because they commercialized religion!
MICAH 3:11
The heads thereof judge for reward, and the priests thereof teach for hire, and the prophets thereof divine for money: yet will they lean upon the LORD, and say, Is not the LORD among us? none evil can come upon us.
Isn’t it true that Catholic priests perform for money? Baptisms, confirmations, marriage ceremonies, masses and so many other rituals are paid for by members of the Catholic Church. With this happening in Roman Catholicism, is it true that “none evil can come upon them?” Even the office of the pope, the highest in the hierarchy of the Catholic Church, was stricken by all sorts of evil in the long history of the Catholic Church. Currently there are complaints of so many sorts of abuses popular enough to merit an entry in the Guinness Book of World Records.

ReplyDeleteI have a been a Catholic for 36 and never have I learned the wisdom the bible teaches until I heard Bro.Eli preached. And yes, almost all churches that teaches the bible are selective with what verses they want to teach that are beneficial to their preferred doctrines. Not in the Church of God International....where the purity of the word is delivered as pure as it was taught. Because the Bible is still the best seller book ever on the face of the earth.

No preacher in the world uses the words of God written in the Bible other than Bro. Eli Soriano. His love and trust to God’s words is apparent that readers can rely on what he preaches. In contrast, all preachers who teach words coming only from themselves are distrustful.

DeleteThe Bible really is superb in literature. Its punctuation, word usage are all effective. However, there are now false religions which changed the words used in the Bible. They changed the real name of the true Church, "Church of God" to Catholic Church, Protestant Church, etc which are all rebellious and presumptuous manner.

ReplyDeleteMost churches and religion always emphasizes on the TITHES thing as if it was a commandment for the Christians. The Church of God International must be the only church on earth who does not impose this doctrine.
Others change the original content of the bible and substitute words that would benefit them. Like the jehova's witnesses church. Replacing the God as Jehova has become a universal confusion which just perplexed things further for the readers. Ironically, much as many religions on earth play with the words written in the bible, not one of them realized that the CHURCH OF GOD is the biblical church. Thanks be to God our church did. Because the Church of God International is the only church on earth which teaches the gospel of the bible without inhibitions. And Im very thankful to God that I'm a member of this church.

It is composed of many books with different writers and written in different times but the topics, the subjects, the stories, the prophecies, all the teachings and the manner the books were written is hard to ignore that in actuality it really was authored by just One, that is the reason why you will not find contradictions among the books not even one. ReplyDeleteI have ventured seeking for the true religion and church for three decades; listened to different doctrines and met different religious leaders but there was none one who was able to answer my questions eloquently until I heard Bro.Eli.Soriano preached over the television program ANG DATING DAAN (translated THE OLD PATH) in 2002.
ReplyDeleteAs much as I was already satisfied with Bro.Eli's explanations in many of his bible expositions, I didn't realize that attending the indoctrination and being baptized in the Church of God would open a portal of wisdom in my subconscious that would make me see the much in depth answers to my questions.
This blog , despite being just the tip of the iceberg, is not an alien to any MCGI as far as information is concern. The members of the Church of God International knows very well that Bro.Eli has no inentions of inflicting offense to anyone.He may have many enemies but he hates no one. Why he is exposing religious anomalies in a spiritual perspective is because he wants to help people understand the deception they're secluded by. And though they may take offense, he would still speak of the truth, even if it would result to his persecutions.
Every blog Bro.Eli writes will never be about offensing people. But telling them the truth, even if it hurts

ReplyDeleteMany scientists today who called themselves " ancient astronauts" believe the existence of aliens in other planets. Through their research aliens came and communicated with religious leaders at different times. But my research told me that the Bible managed earth, Gal.3:19. To me, these aliens were angels. These scientists don't believe the bible anyway. Let's forget them.
Humans are the lowest kind, 1 Cor.1:26-29. Through the Church of GOD, He will use his power and wisdom against the ruler of this world, and rulers of principalities and powers in heavenly places. This information is hugely amazing.
Going much further, the bible provides about the future of this world and its final day. The Church of GOD through his lowly servants guide us how we are going to escape this great tribulation that will come upon all mankind. Terribly unimaginable!
Behind this teaching, the Roman Catholic Church is the worst enemy of faith that the Church of GOD is encountering. The bible forewarns us. The terrorist may be worst today but the Catholic leaders are lying to the whole world that their Pope is infallible. He has taken the seat of GOD. He speaks the great mystery but he denies the glory to GOD who is praised forevermore. ISN'T THAT DISGUSTING!
Without the servants of GOD, we can really never know that the bible contains truths. Thank GOD for his mercy that nowadays this book is open to us.

Glory to God
The Catholic church as exposed by Bro.Eli in numerous bible expositions he conducted through the years must be the most comprehensive and unexpurgated exposition I have ever heard -- given the fact that a high percentage of Filipinos in the Philippines are catholic. And of the many things I have learned, the one that hit me the most is the title of the Catholic Pope being THE MOST HOLY. Which of course implies that while the bible refers to GOD as THE HOLY FATHER, catechism on the other hand addresses the POPE as THE MOST HOLY, thereby suggesting a superlative degree in ranking. That alone should open the eyes of the catholics . That alone should have painted a thousand words.

All the church rituals: mass,infant baptism, confirmation, wedding or even their "pamisa" for the souls of their dead and others were all man - made. The main cause for all of these is MONEY. I hope this blog will be an eye opener for the Catholics that give less importance of the authenticity of the bible and try to be more curious and ask questions, if the belief they were practicing were written in the bible.

ReplyDeleteTo read the bible isn't similar to reading paperbacks or books written by novelists such as Stephen King or Ernest Hemingway. There is more to just reading it. How many biblical scholars and theologians have attempted to decode the bible? Didn't most of them derive their interpretation from other interpretations, if not according to their own analysis or understanding? That's where we take pride about Bro.Eli. He does not give his own interpretations about the bible. He finds the bible's interpretation inside the bible itself. He finds the answers to the questions refetential from the bible within the bible. How does he do that? I have no explanation. I just know that it takes a holy spirit to know what is of holy spirit. As flesh only recognizes flesh. This is why the bible is the PUREST LITERATURE ever. It's not science fiction but it foretells the highest science man could ever learn. The science of creation to the highest form of science on earth could never be able to explain.

Yes come to think of it, how could they rename the Church of GOD as Lutheran Church for example? Since when was Martin Luther, a german ecclesiastical reformer of the Catholic church , ever given the right to claim the community of God's people as his and under his church? Or where in the bible on the other hand can you see that the catholic pope was given the title the most holy when GOD the Father alone is THE ONLY Holy Father in the bible?
ReplyDeleteIn the Philippines, there is even this religion called RIZALISTAS who actually worship Jose Rizal as their god. The Philippines must be the only country in southeast asia, if not all over the world who has the plentiest religions and denominations ever. It only means to show that filipinos by nature are very godly people although there are isolated cases of atheism and rumors of a group called SATANISTA who worships the devil. Fortunately, the bible prophesied the birth of a church in the end of days that would arise in the east which very much refers to THE CHURCH OF GOD INTERNATIONAL. The church behind the famous tv program ANG DATING DAAN or the OLD PATH.
The bible spoke of the Church of GOD in many instances. It mentioned of the churches of Christ , but that alone does not make it the official name of God's true church.

ReplyDeleteOne of the wrong doctrine of the RCC is celibacy which has been prophesied and opposed in the bible -- a wrong practice that is actually that of an anti-christ. The reason is evident. How many catholic priest indulged themselves in fornication, adultery, pedophilia and sexual abuse which of course have been documented throughout the years. GOD knows that deprivation of natural desires of the flesh could be inevitable and at a certain area be a sin if practiced out of matrimony. Only upon marriage can a man and a woman have sex and therefore having involved in such as act as a priest is conclusively unpardonable inside the church. Unfortunately, disclosures has to take precedence or evasion of sanction could come habitual and unnoticed.
