Coercive Bloc Voting: Against Philippine Constitution and the Bible
The constitution that provides for the absolute freedom of religion and the separation of church and state is the same constitution that provides that a voter has the right to vote according to his conscience without the intimidation of anybody!
We underscore here coercion of subordinates (D) as well as Threats, intimidation, terrorism, use of fraudulent device or other forms of coercion (E) as part of Sec. 261. Prohibited Acts under Election Offenses of the Omnibus Election Code – Article XXII. We come first to coercion of subordinates –
Omnibus Election Code – Article XXII
Sec. 261. Prohibited Acts under Election Offenses
D. Coercion of subordinates.
Sec. 261. Prohibited Acts under Election Offenses
D. Coercion of subordinates.
Any public officer, or any officer of any public or private corporation or association, or any head, superior, or administrator of any religious organization, or any employer or land-owner who coerces or intimidates or compels, or in any manner influence, directly or indirectly, any of his subordinates or members or parishioners or employees or house helpers, tenants, overseers, farm helpers, tillers, or lease holders to aid, campaign or vote for or against any candidate or any aspirant for the nomination or selection of candidates.
Any public officer or any officer of any commercial, industrial, agricultural, economic or social enterprise or public or private corporation or association, or any head, superior or administrator of any religious organization, or any employer or landowner who dismisses or threatens to dismiss, punishes or threatens to punish be reducing his salary, wage or compensation, or by demotion, transfer, suspension, separation, excommunication, ejectment, or causing him annoyance in the performance of his job or in his membership, any subordinate member or affiliate, parishioner, employee or house helper, tenant, overseer, farm helper, tiller, or lease holder, for disobeying or not complying with any of the acts ordered by the former to aid, campaign or vote for or against any candidate, or any aspirant for the nomination or selection of candidates.

So it is clear that any head, superior, or administrator of any religious organization cannot compel his members or parishioners to aid, campaign or vote for or against any candidate or any aspirant for the nomination or selection of candidates. It is an election offense.
He cannot also demote, transfer, suspend, separate, excommunicate those “disobeying or not complying with any of the acts ordered by the former to aid, campaign or vote for or against any candidate, or any aspirant for the nomination or selection of candidates.” It is an election offense.
Omnibus Election Code – Article XXII
Sec. 261.Prohibited Acts under Election Offenses
Sec. 261.Prohibited Acts under Election Offenses
E. Threats, intimidation, terrorism, use of fraudulent device or other forms of coercion. - Any person who, directly or indirectly, threatens, intimidates or actually causes, inflicts or produces any violence, injury, punishment, damage, loss or disadvantage upon any person or persons or that of the immediate members of his family, his honor or property, or uses any fraudulent device or scheme to compel or induce the registration or refraining from registration of any voter, or the participation in a campaign or refraining or desistance from any campaign, or the casting of any vote or omission to vote, or any promise of such registration, campaign, vote, or omission therefrom.
Compare these provisions with the Law of Manalo. Photo reference below says –
Primary Doctrines in the Church of Christ written by Eraño Manalo: “Do not destroy the unity of the church even in terms of voting or otherwise because it involves sin that merits excommunication from the church.”
These violations are very obviously being committed by the leaders of Iglesia ni Cristo-Manalo but no one seems to have the guts to put the law into force against these people. Why? Simply because their commanded votes practice serves the vested interests of politicians that most of the time fall prey to the snares of these influence peddlers!
This INCM practice as publicly known constitutes their leaders imposing on their members to vote for candidates of their choice under threat of excommunication if not followed. Hence, politicians are made to believe that if they get the nod of the leader, it is a sure win, even tagging them as "king makers."
The necessary consequence is that if the politician wins, evil and corruption win because of the exchange of favors that will eventually take place for the mutual advantage of each side. Evil favors evil. Interest favors interest!
Here's what Dep Ed has to say about this matter:

But let us pause for a while. Let us do some thinking. Why do they reveal their candidate of choice only two or three days before the election? Reason: they are waiting for the result of the surveys and the winnable or whoever tops the survey would be their candidate! Quite cunning and crafty! These tricky foxes intend to impress that it is their votes that made the candidate win! The truth is they do things on the sly, but now the winner has to pay them back!
Let us look back into the past.
Long before the elections, before the pulse of the electorate is known through surveys, they had decided to backup a particular candidate but their candidate lost in the presidential race. The INCM candidate for the 1992 elections was Eduardo Cojuangco, Jr. but he lost to Fidel Ramos. Cojuangco, Jr. received only 4,116,376 (18.17%) votes as against Ramos’ 5,342,521 (23.58%).
Was the INC a kingmaker?
Iglesia ni Cristo supported Eduardo Cojuangco Jr. |
An article written by Jake Astudillo (4/21/2013, Wordpress.com) registers other failed INC candidates. Here are excerpts from “Are We Now Going to Give the Country to Bloc-Voting People?” -
In 1992, the Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) endorsed Danding Cojuangco to [the] Presidency. Danding landed only as 3rd in the final counting of votes. Six years later, in 1998, the INC supported Joseph Estrada who failed to continue his term. On May 10, 2007, Michael Defensor, Ralph Recto and Vicente Sotto were endorsed as Senators by the INC but they lost in the 2007 elections. On May 5, 2010, the INC endorsed Mar Roxas as Vice-President but he lost. Again, on May 5, 2010, Raffy Biazon was endorsed by the INC as Senator but he lost. In the same year, on July 22, 2010, the Iglesia ni Cristo supported Manny Villar for the Senate Presidency but he failed to win.
Walden Bello in 2010 wrote about local INC leaders selling promised bloc votes to local candidates in Bulacan. He was then running as a Representative for Akbayan. Or is it a command vote? Alex Magno of Philippine Star calls this more of “command votes.” As practiced by the INC it is command votes, he said, “evoking sad imagery of witness voters and omnipotent political lords.”
So it is witty and satanically scheming to wait for the survey first and then favor the top bet to gain the honor of being "kingmaker" even if it was not so!
A food for thought for politicians whose heads are empty: if they are really king makers, on their own capacity, can they not field their own candidates in national positions?
Very obvious that their interest in putting their trusted members or friends in public office is the idea that favors will be exchanging between them. This is especially palpable in the case of Presidential elections. Now, if the “king-maker” claim is true at any one point they could easily run for national office, and hold the entire country under the caprices of their leader!
But all they do is lobby for some people to be placed in some sensitive positions in government, lobby to have someone be acquitted, or lobby for someone to remain in place despite irregularities bared. Why? Because actually the INC is not a king maker! National dailies have in fact been registering these unfortunate INC struggles through the years.
Here’s a report from Philippine Daily Inquirer of INC lobbying. They had wanted the former Supreme Court Justice Renato Corona to be acquitted. Four emissaries were said to have met with senators. Why do they have to stoop this low?
Identified here were Dan Orosa, a high-ranking INC official; Resty Lazaro, lawyer of the INC group; Manny Cuevas and Victor Cheng. The first two had been doing the rounds of senators since Congress went on break, said the report. The last two were doing hush-hush lobbying with senators when the impeachment resumed.
And here’s a very incisive report written by Aries Rufo of RappplerDotCom (7/28/2014) titled, “INC lobbies for key gov't positions.” This is actually the concluding part. There are earlier parts. Part 1 covers “INC: From rag-tag sect to influential wheeler-dealer?” and Part 2: “How potent is the INC's vote-delivery system?”
We reproduced this concluding part (with our underscoring in red) because it names those people the INC placed in key government positions and therefore are understood by some quarters to be INC stooges (Read: people doing them favors).
INC lobbies for key gov't positions
Rappler / July 28, 2014
The INC makes it easy for their political allies to know what they want in the form of lists of appointive positions they want secured for their own members
MANILA, Philippines – It is not only elective officials that the Iglesia Ni Cristo tries to establish relationships with.
They also try to establish rapport with appointive officials – even if they’re non-INC members – especially if they are seen to be a possible source of help some day. They help lobby for the appointment or promotion of these officials to key government posts.
“It’s like a pass-it-forward thing,” De La Salle political science professor Gladstone Cuarteros said. Two such cases were former Ombudsman Merceditas Gutierrez and impeached chief justice Renato Corona, an INC member confirmed.
The INC’s clout was somewhat diminished under the administrations of former President Corazon Aquino and Fidel V. Ramos. Aquino was installed by a Catholic Church-backed People Power uprising, while Ramos, a Protestant, favored the Christian evangelical group, Jesus is Lord Movement of Brother Eddie Villanueva.
But the INC came back with a vengeance during the short-lived presidency of Joseph Estrada.
The former president and the Manalos, leaders of the church, have enjoyed close personal relationships dating back to when Estrada was mayor of San Juan. In fact, the headquarters of the INC used to be based in San Juan.
Returning the goodwill of the INC, Estrada appointed several members of the sect to key government positions. Shortly after assuming office, he appointed INC member Serafin Cuevas as his first secretary to the Department of Justice. He has since passed away. Two years later, Estrada appointed another INC member, Artemio Toquero, also as justice secretary.
How did Estrada know what could please the INC?
Iglesia’s list
The INC makes it easy for their political allies to know what they want in the form of lists of appointive positions they want secured for their own members. “They submitted a list to Estrada. They also submitted a list to President Aquino,” a former government official who both worked for Estrada and Aquino said.
The INC’s favorite playgrounds are the judiciary, law enforcement agencies, regulatory bodies, and revenue-generating agencies like the Bureau of Customs. “You could see these are key government positions. The aim is not to make money, but more for the protection of their members and easier access to government.”
The INC also enjoyed political considerations from former president Gloria Macapagal Arroyo. Positions in the Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court (SC) were filled up at the INC’s behest.
Among the justices who were beneficiaries of INC endorsements are incumbent SC Associate Justice Presbitero Velasco and retired SC justice Ruben T. Reyes. The INC also backed them when they were appointed to the Court of Appeals initially. Arroyo also appointed Reynaldo Wycoco, a retired general and INC member, as NBI chief. Wycoco died in 2005.
When Aquino assumed office, the INC was expecting the President to return the favor. To their dismay, however, Aquino paid little attention to the INC list, although he appointed INC member and former Quezon City police chief Magtanggol Gatdula to the National Bureau of Investigation.
He further incurred the ire of the INC when Aquino began targeting Gutierrez and Corona who are considered allies by the INC.
As early as August 2010, the INC expressed its displeasure over Aquino’s failure to appoint its recommended people in certain government posts, one INC source said. This source confirmed he was among those recommended by the INC to a revenue-generating agency but was bypassed.
The displeasure reached a point where INC executive minister Eduardo Manalo wrote a letter to Aquino withdrawing the church’s list of recommendations.
The INC source said Aquino quickly sought a meeting with Manalo to mend ties, but Manalo was no longer in a reconciliatory mood. Manalo sent one of his trusted aides to meet Aquino in his residence in Times Street in Quezon City.
To please the INC, Aquino agreed to retain a Ninoy Aquino International Airport customs official – an INC member – in his post, a separate source said. But the downward spiral of Aquino’s relationship with the INC was by then irreversible.
Show of strength
In EDSA 3 in 2001, the INC firmly realized they have clout and influence even outside the polls. “That’s where they got more empowered,” Cuarteros said. Mobilizing its members to flock to EDSA Shrine in support of Estrada, who was arrested and detained for plunder charges, the INC discovered a new power source they could tap to make their presence felt.
This show of strength was even more evident in Aquino’s time. They have flexed their muscle, at least in the streets, and in other subtle ways. Their medical missions in the run-up to the INC’s centennial celebration, were a subtle show of force indicating they have the numbers and are growing.
During the impeachment of Corona, the INC staged what it called a “religious activity” but which many political observers interpreted as a show of force and support for the embattled impeached Chief Justice. (READ: Iglesia’s show of force)
It was also a show of resentment over how the Aquino government was treating INC members in government. The INC invited its local political allies and even high-ranking officials of the Catholic Church who are critical of Aquino.
One of the more prominent cases was that of Gatdula, whose career was nurtured by the INC. In 2006, he was named by then Quezon City Mayor and now Speaker Feliciano Belmonte Jr as Quezon City chief of police – upon the strong lobby of the INC.
Gatdula was however sacked by Aquino after reports surfaced linking him to the kidnapping of a Japanese.
The INC had wanted Aquino to give Gatdula a graceful exit by letting him resign instead of being fired. But things turned for the worse when the INC’s Eduardo Manalo interpreted as “blackmail” Malacañang’s counter-offer that the charges against Gatdula would be dropped if Cuevas backed out as Corona’s lawyer.
Beyond the streets, the INC was also working behind the scenes to rally support for Corona among senators. While Malacanang sought to downplay the INC intervention, it nevertheless prompted Aquino to seek an audience with Manalo.
Shifting loyalties
To be sure, the INC has built a formidable image that it can make or break the political career of those aspiring for public office. Its solid vote is a prized catch for anyone, and could possibly attract the undecided voters to go for the potential winners.
INC spokesman Edwil Zabala said bloc-voting is based on Biblical teachings. “One of the Bible teachings is unity. Unity in serving the Lord God. Unity in faith. Unity in rendering judgment. That's in the Bible. So when members of the Iglesia ni Cristo, for example, here in the Philippines, are asked to vote, we are being asked to render a judgment. So we have to put God, obedience to God first, before obedience to any man-made law. If God requires unity, if God requires that the body of Christ, the Church of Christ be one, we will uphold it no matter how others may react to it.”
Essentially, it seems to be a reverse of the adage, “The voice of the people is the voice of God.” But for all the political posturing, show of force and unity of the INC during elections, it suffers one major flaw: shifting loyalties. They could be rabidly supporting a candidate one time, and then move to the other side the next time.
Such was the case of Estrada, whom the INC had supported all his political life, except in the 2010 polls. Escudero was treated similarly.
On the local front, former Manila Mayor Joselito Atienza had the same experience in his proxy battle against rival Alfredo Lim. In the 3 elections for the Manila mayoralty race – one of which was contested by Lim, the INC backed Atienza. However, when Atienza pushed his son, Arnold, to contest the mayoral race after he (the older Atienza) completed his 3 terms, the INC transferred its support to Lim.
When Estrada contested the Manila mayoral race against Lim in 2013, the INC swung back to Estrada.
“They’re just being pragmatic,” observed a former Cabinet official and political observer. They will go to the one who they can benefit from.”
The retired archbishop said this is the problem when decisions by church higher-ups in political matters are personality-based and are not arrived at with full discernment. It can be subject to the whims and caprices of church leaders. –Rappler.com

The unconstitutional practice of this so-called powerful religious group is surely a great threat against the principle of democracy!
Christian Doctrine of Unity?
They say that they vote by bloc because "unity" according to them is a Christian doctrine, citing 1 Corinthians 1:10. But here is what this verse says -
I CORINTHIANS 1:10
Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.
They say that to vote is to judge, they must be one in mind and in judgment, thus, to vote forcibly by bloc! This is clearly an intended evil interpretation of the holy commandment of unity among Christians!
To be a Christian is not to be a "robot"! Christians are free under a law called in the Bible as "law of liberty"!
JAMES 1:25
But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
Christians are not subject to the dictates of another man!
I CORINTHIANS 7:22-23
22 For he that is called in the Lord, being a servant, is the Lord's freeman: likewise also he that is called, being free, is Christ's servant.
23 Ye are bought with a price; be not ye the servants of men.
Unity taught to Christians is unity in Christ and in the gospel, not unity in serving the wiles of some men – political, material, or otherwise! A wile is a trick or stratagem intended to ensnare or deceive. It is trickery on the innocent. Brandishing the flag of spiritual unity while undermining their human free will is actually a play of words that Christ never endorsed.
GALATIANS 3:28
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
PHILIPPIANS 1:27
Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;
"One mind" or "united minds" for the faith of the gospel is what is meant by Christ - not unity in commanded bloc voting!
Let us repeat 1 Corinthians 1:10.
I CORINTHIANS 1:10
Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.
What is "one judgment" or the "same judgment?” There are things in the church that must be decided on or judged upon within the church. The true church judges not on things outside the church.
I CORINTHIANS 6:1-6
1 Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unjust, and not before the saints?
2 Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?
3 Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?
4 If then ye have judgments of things pertaining to this life, set them to judge who are least esteemed in the church.
5 I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? no, not one that shall be able to judge between his brethren?
6 But brother goeth to law with brother, and that before the unbelievers.
I CORINTHIANS 5:12-13 (RSV)
12 For what have I to do with judging outsiders? Is it not those inside the church whom you are to judge?
13 God judges those outside. " Drive out the wicked person from among you. "
So it is clear that judging or rendering judgment wherein the unity of the brethren is required is on matters within the church - not among politicians!
Do you perceive the foolish interpretation of the Manalistas? I pray "harinawa!” So be it!
Christians have their share of civil obligations as provided for by the laws of the New Testament.
I PETER 2:13
Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme;
For the Lord's sake and for a peaceful life, Christians are duty bound to obey human laws!
I TIMOTHY 2:2
For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
THE ROMANS 13:1-2
1 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.
If religious leaders will abide by this Christian law, they will not coerce or threaten their members of excommunication if they will not vote for candidates of their leader’s choice.
The constitution provides that a voter must vote according to his own conscience with his own free will and without intimidation. That is the essence provided for in Omnibus Election Code - Article XXII – Election Offenses. Biblically, a Christian can by his individual capacity, "render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar's.”
Like Robots
Bloc voters under the coercion of their leader are like robots, not thinking, not choosing, not picking, and most especially not voting according to their conscience. They are but "zombies" moved by the evil power of their leaders! How did they come to be like this? They have become fanatics by their own will.
If Christians can choose for himself, a wife or husband, why can he not in simple choice of a candidate?
I CORINTHIANS 7:39
The wife is bound by the law as long as her husband liveth; but if her husband be dead, she is at liberty to be married to whom she will; only in the Lord.
If it is within God's permission to choose even between life and death, salvation and perdition, why can he not for a candidate?
DEUTERONOMY 30:19
I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:
In fact, it is a freedom of God's servants since time immemorial – to choose between one and the other – because not every thing is the same.
JOB 34:4
Let us choose to us judgment: let us know among ourselves what is good.
What is termed in the INCM as "pagkakaisa" or unity is not really pagkakaisa. Why? Because the term, pagkakaisa, is reached after due consultation and consideration of everyone- not as dictated by only one.
Unity comes about not through coercion but through the submission of individual human free will – a will that is given by God intended to help the person discern between good and evil. Remove that will and you culture a robot, mindless and following no matter what evil you suggest.
May God bless you.
Hypocrisy is at its best when the sect founded by Felix Manalo demands for freedom of religion but has the audacity to ignore its members’ freedom of choice. Politicians need to know this article.
ReplyDeleteThanks be to God we have Mr. Controversy X who doesn’t fall prey to Manalo’s devious scheme.
Another amazing blog to read from Mr. Controversy eXtraordinary! ..."Bloc voters under the coercion of their leader are like robots, not thinking, not choosing, not picking, and most especially not voting according to their conscience. They are but "zombies" moved by the evil power of their leaders! How did they come to be like this? They have become fanatics by their own will.

ReplyDeletethat group is genius in fabricating deceptions and lies...a organize sindicate pretending in the name of religion...pity for Philippines government...pity for Filipino's
ReplyDeleteI hope this blog reaches our legislators. What were they doing all along? In simpler terms, bloc voting is prohibited but then the Iglesia ni Cristo has been getting away with their offences. After this article, I hope a brave lawmaker passes the anti-bloc voting bill. Bloc voting is a cancer to the nation. It's been the gateway of graft, corruption and various injustices that our countrymen have to put up with. No to the unconstitutional and unbiblical practice of bloc voting!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the information Mr. Controversy. They really are violating the constitution.
ReplyDeletePeople should be thankful to God for sending someone like Bro. Eli Soriano who is brave enough to expose anomalies like this by so-called "religious giants"!

ReplyDeleteTo God be the Glory
ReplyDeleteNot True that iglesia ni manalo can win a candidate for national election, They could not even win their ALAGAD Party Rep. Since automation election it has only 27K vote. Very obvious they can only cheat before.
ReplyDeleteTo be a Christian is not to be a "robot"! Christians are free under a law called in the Bible as "law of liberty"! May God enlighten the blinded INCM members.
ReplyDeleteIncredibly timely and very well-researched, this blog is a breath of fresh air. While most so-called religious groups hide under the guise of faith-inspired unity to power their bloc-voting schemes, this blog proves that what they're coercing to do is simply not constitutional, and most of all, not biblical.
ReplyDeleteThese powerful and influential groups are literally selling their members' votes to the highest political bidder, and hindering them to vote conscientiously. This is, simply put, unbecoming and unholy.
I hope that there would be more courageous bloggers who would not let this issue die -- because this is the kind of things we should really be reading about. I'm one of the many grateful readers of this blog.
Two thumbs up! ^__^

ReplyDeleteIt' s a right to vote! By our own free will and not dictated by anyone. And eye-opener for INCM members and some politicians.
ReplyDeleteThanks GOD for this very enlightening blog of Mr. ControversyX. May GOD bless you always.
Bloc-voting, not only against the man's law, but also to God,s law!!!! SO UNBIBLICAL!!! No wonder, INC is a MAFIA or FRATERNITY under the guise of a religious organization, created by their god satan!!!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely, it is as tasty as Salt!
ReplyDelete"To be a Christian is not to be a "robot"! Christians are free under a law called in the Bible as "law of liberty"! "
What a sensible explanation! Thank God for sending us a tireless preacher like Bro. Eli Soriano who is unwavering in teaching us Biblical doctrines through these blogs that expose the blatant lies and deceits
For you to expelled your member just for not voting the way your administration wanted to is a manifestation of being a false Church. There is no such doctrine of bloc voting in the true Church of God. Thanks be to God for we have Bro Eli and Bro Daniel. We pray that HE continue to keep and bless them in propagating the words of God.. Amen
ReplyDeleteHope this blog will awaken the consiousness of those blind followers.

Salamat sa Dios!

@MrControversyX well explained how bloc voting of INCM is unconstitutional and not biblical. This blog shows how leaders of INCM using their authority to takeout the liberty or freedom of their members to decide which is against the law and how they twisting veses in the Bible to use for their vested interest!
ReplyDeleteThanks be to God once again, for another enlightening article from Mr. Controversy!
ReplyDeleteTruly the Bloc-Voting of Iglesia ni Cristo - Manalo is against the law of men & the law of God. An evil planned of an evil mind with an evil intent. May the Filipinos learned from the Blog of Bro Eli.
ReplyDeleteINCM wants freedom of their cult & freedom of their choice. not a separation of church and state,
ReplyDeleteThis bloc voting crap is so appalling. The church of manalo's leader's are breeding mob mentality among their members by forcing them to bloc vote. It's quite obvious to a thinking mind that this scheme is just a way for them to get leverage to peddle influence and manipulate the government so they can get away with all their unlawful and devilish acts. It's time for the church of manalo's members to wake up and leave that so-called church of theirs.
ReplyDeleteWow, incm members are really robots, can't decide on their own....
One of the best blogs of Mr. ControversyX!!!
ReplyDeleteTo God be the glory!
I hope that majority of INCM member will be enlighten.
ReplyDeleteThanks be to God for all we knows about who's rigth or wrong doing of a Pastor...now me knows.
ReplyDeleteSalamat sa Dios
ReplyDeleteAnother very sensible discussion. Its true that democracy in a country can not be attain if there is somebody who can influence the law. Corruption will not end in the Phillipines as long as politicians who will win in any positions will always practice "UTANG NA LOOB". I experienced this when I've been to a certain place in the Philippines. I travelled along a very well developed provincial road until it ended up to another place where the development stopped. I asked a resident of the place why the develpment stops in their particular area. This was his answer.. "Di po kasi nanalo si Ginoong Politiko dito sa lugar namin". So what more in a very sensible positions in the government.? Let us unite, stop the influence of any religious or groups in influencing government positions for their own interest. TO GOD BE THE GLORY.
ReplyDeletewe need to obey in the rule of men.
ReplyDeleteAccording in the bible.
Great Article.

Lobbying of INCM for appointive government official is against the Omnibus Election Code of the Philippines, and more so it is against the Bible. Thanks be to God for Bro. Eli Soriano enlightening us not only the Biblical doctrine but as well as political issues!
ReplyDeleteGood read.

ReplyDeleteHope this expose opens the hearts and minds of the INC -M members! They can only be manipulated and made into robots because they allow it!
ReplyDeleteMr. ControversyX, thanks be to GOD for making this simple for us to understand!
To GOD be the Glory!
A very timely blog regarding coercive bloc voting imposed by INM in their members, a thorough explanation of why its against the Philippine Constitution and against the Bible as Unity must comes about not through coercion but through the submission of individual human will – a will that is given by God intended to help the person discern between good and evil. Remove that will and you culture a robot, mindless followers no matter what evil you suggest.
ReplyDeleteTruly a blog worth reading and sharing.
Thanks be To God!!!for this wonderful Blog.
To the INC brethren an informative blog from the #truthcaster regarding the false doctrine of Manalo regarding unity in blocvoting!...
ReplyDeleteSalamat sa Dios. A blog that is worthy to be read
ReplyDeleteChristian has a duty to obey the human laws. If the law states that bloc voting is wrong religious groups must not practice it. The unity of a Christian is inside the Church not outside.
ReplyDeleteDue to this bloc voting the Philippine Government became corrupt. Due to INC's lists of appointive positions Philippines became very corrupt. Estrada and the Bureau of Costoms the most corrupt agency of the Philippine Government.
Thanks be to God Mr Controversy of a wonderful blog.
TO GOD BE THE GLORY!!
ReplyDeleteThis group of INCM is being mislead by their false leaders. They are using the verses from the Bible for their vested interests. But in this blog of MRCONTROVERSY, it is very clear that the word "unity" is not for voting, but for the faith in the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
ReplyDeleteTrue indeed! INCM leaders not only trick their members. They also rob them of their free will, thus making them robots/zombies who can not vote according to their choice.
DeleteTo God be the Glory!
Another very good insights by Mr. Controversy. Thanks be to God.
ReplyDeleteThanks be to God for this wonderful insights.
ReplyDeleteThanx be to God, for this another blog, it is an eye opener for every one whose seeking rhe truth, may the Lord guide you ang take care of you brd eli. To God be all the Glory. Amen
ReplyDeleteThis kind of cult must ebolish!
ReplyDeleteThis religion is like a virus. They create chaos in our government for a long long time.
ReplyDelete#TheTruthCaster
I am intrigued that they lie and do double speak just to survive and cover up for their faults. This is not a group that is willing to be cleansed. For that, it is clear they are not the flock that Christ is leading. But the members still stay there despite all the uncovering that God allowed. This is pure fanaticism already and it would be their fault if they remain there.
ReplyDeleteanother eye opener, To God be the Glory
ReplyDeleteThanks be to God
ReplyDeleteBloc voting only benefits our greedy and covetous politicians & INCM ministers. Therefore impoverishes many.
ReplyDelete"The unconstitutional practice of this so-called powerful religious group is surely a great threat against the principle of democracy!"
Thanks be to God for we are not being coerced by misleading deeds. Thanks for the enlightenment Mr. Controversy X. To God be the glory!
Thanks be to God, another enlightening blog was made by Mr. controversy Extraordinary. Thanks be to God for continuously exposing the wickedness of the wicked leaders of religious group such as the Iglesia ni Cristo ni Manalo. Impeding the right of their members to vote for the officials of their liking is another mischief from the governance of Manalo. Not only that INCM leadership violating the law of the Philippine Government but especially the law of God, considering these group call themselves that of God´s. My woe is for the innocent members of this group who had been being fooled by Manalo. My wish is for all the blogs made by Mr. Controversy about INCM reached their members and be an eye opener for them.
ReplyDelete#TheTruthCaster
This bloc voting style of the INC-M breeds corruption which is one of the many evils of society........
ReplyDeleteThis must-share blog is very enlightening and imformative!
Mr. ControversyX, you are truly Extraordinary!
To GOD be the Glory!
this INCManalo leaders are lawbreakers they are coercing their members to vote for their chosen candidates in return for a favor.
ReplyDeletewe should not votes for politicians that seek the votes of INCManalo.
A very enlightening blog about sepation of church and state against bloc voting of INCManalo.
Bloc voting only benefits our greedy and covetous politicians & INCM ministers.
To God be the glory.
ReplyDeleteBoth the constitution and especially God gave each and one of us the right to choose. If the Almighty God had already gave us the right in choosing, how dare false prophets eradicate that right? A true unity in the true church is the unity in the Gospel and Christ. Thanks be to God Mr.Controversy! I hope that candidates for the election 2016 might read this and also the INCM!
ReplyDeleteHow evil the unity that manalo implanted in the brainwashed mind of his members,I pitty all of them,May God fully reveals the wrongdoings of manalo's church& save the decieved mind of incm members!
ReplyDeleteAnother blockbuster blog by @MrControversyX that intends to destroy the centuries old doctrine of INCM 'the bloc voting', It is not only the law that was being infringe by them but most especially misinterpret the sacred meaning of the Holy Scriptures.
ReplyDeleteTo those politicians who are greedy of vote, learn from Bro. Eli and you will be leading a country to be more peaceful, just and loving place to live with, not with leaders of religions who only wanted to gain more power for their own welfare and evil intentions.
And to my fellow countrymen, we are entitled to vote for our own choice, but we must also consider what he/she is capable with. The future of our country is dependent to whom will be the next leader, so vote wisely and judgingly.
May God bless our land Philippines!
Omnibus Election Code – Article XXII
ReplyDeleteSec. 261. Prohibited Acts under Election Offenses
It is all very clear. INC Iglesia ni Manalo have long been violating the Constitution, abusing the freedom of his members to obtain his lucrative religious business.
A religious business founded by man... constitutionally and biblically contradictory.
Thank GOD for this another enlightening blog.
Timely blog... I was looking for a proof that INC bloc voting is unconstitution two days ago... God gave the answer.. Thanks be to God!!!
ReplyDeleteLet us share this blog to our fellowmen! And may our Lord enlighten the members of iglesia ni Manalo who where fooled by their council!
ReplyDeleteWe hope DoJ continues to investigate the abduction involving INM Sanggunian!
Show your numbers INCM if needed you have it. Declare your support once your candidates fielded in and not on the 11th hour of the survey.
ReplyDeleteThanks be to God for this blog. No to bloc voting! sana mabasa ng mga mambabatas ang blog n ito ng mabuksan ang isip nila..
ReplyDeleteThis blog is an eye opener to all politicians. They should read this blog.
ReplyDeleteTHANKS BE TO GOD!!
ReplyDeleteIt is just a prove that their church is not true and God not dwells to that false church. They already disobeying the constitution here in the Philippines, what more the law of God they will not follow. How pity. Thaks be to God for this wonderful blog, I wish that everybody can read your blog Mr. Controversy. It is an eye-opener for those who are in that church unless they will not accept it. Thanks be to God. More power.
ReplyDeleteWow! This is amazing blog by bro. Eli. It exposes how this church operates. I can see the motive of the leaders of this religious organizations. I can say wordly. I can see no faith in the things that are not seen. They teach in their gathering the things that are in heaven and hell but actually the way they operate and influence is only here in this world. They aren't afraid of the consequences of their actions. I am sure they are only using the bible to their own interest. Purely wordly! They don't mind the warning of the bible to the soul that sins. Thank God for this blog.
ReplyDeleteTHANKS BE TO GOD FOR THIS BLOG! BLOC VOTING IS NOT BIBLICAL!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks be to GOD,
ReplyDeletePoor members of INCM being coerced & intimidated to the benefits of few. They think they follow biblical teaching of Christ but absolutely not.
ReplyDeleteSalamat Sa Dios!
ReplyDeleteIndeed Bloc Voting is against the law! this jeopardise the justice system in the Philippines
ReplyDeleteThey're shouting for "Separation of State and Church", but encouraging bloc voting among members to ensure power and connections to government. How unsynchronized. Well we really can't expect anything logical/sensible with this kind of group - a group without presence of God
ReplyDeleteThanks be to God for this article
ReplyDeleteVery true.. Thanks be to GOD!
ReplyDelete"the right to vote according to his conscience without the intimidation of anybody!" this is what our constitution stipulates. Then why, for the longest time, our politicians continued to solicit votes from INCM?! Isn't this a clear violation of the separation of the church and state? I encourage you to read and share this blog!
ReplyDeletePoor members used by their leaders to shield themselves against the law.
ReplyDelete"A food for thought for politicians whose heads are empty: if they are really king makers, on their own capacity, can they not field their own canidates in national positions?"
ReplyDeleteThis is one of my favorite line in the blog. Thanks be to God for wisdom that He taught us through the #TheTruthCaster. To God be the Glory!!!
"Unity comes about not through coercion but through the submission of individual human will – a will that is given by God intended to help the person discern between good and evil. Remove that will and you culture a robot, mindless and following no matter what evil you suggest." So much meaning! This is absolutely true! Thanks be to God! This blog site is incomparable to other religious sites because of its sense and sensibility. I encourage everyone to read and share!
ReplyDeletePoor members of INCM being coerced & intimidated to the benefits of few. They think they follow biblical teaching of Christ but absolutely not.
ReplyDeleteSalamat sa Dios !
ReplyDeleteVery Heinous Punishment/crime to any member of a so called true church just because of exercising one of any citizen's bill of rights and that is the freedom to vote not the church freedom to coerce!
ReplyDeleteOur Lower and Higher Courts that includes our Supreme Court with the participation of the Commission on Election to investigate this doctrine of Iglesia Ni Manalo of Coercive Bloc Voting to the extent of applying the gravest punishment and that is eternal damnation to Hell to a member. For any person with sound mind and or in correct thinking and doing good in life they do not want to be dammed in HELL!
If found that any church is in violation of this mandated code of the Omnibus Election must be charged by DOJ or COMELEC accordingly.
Since when this Bloc Voting by Coercion started?
To our Law Makers and Experts in Election Code WHAT DO YOU THINK AND SUGGEST TO STOP THIS COERCIVE BLOC VOTING???
To all the members of Iglesia Ni Cristo of Manalo, open your eyes do not be blind followers, you are being used as MERCHANDISE by your leaders.....
To MrControversyX, very well exposed and a very courageous display of faithfulness to all of us especially to those members who were forced by their organizations even this exposition will mean danger to your life! We thank God for giving us FAITHFUL SERVANT IN THESE LAST DAYS!!! More Power and God Bless and Keep you always!
using force or threats NO ES BUENO!

ReplyDeleteThanks Be to GOD mr. Controversy this is a timely information....
ReplyDeleteFor so long, they have been violating the Constitution of the Philippines. And the mislead and blinded politicians (who believe that they can make a candidate win an election), seek their so called support; and in return, they favored the caprices of the INCM -- a blatant and clear example of influence peddling in the Philippines.
ReplyDeleteBloc voting is not Biblical at all! Thanks be to God for this blog!
ReplyDeleteAnother false doctrines fraud of Manalo, and an outright Philippines constitution, so that they have money and oppress others.
ReplyDeleteINC's bloc voting is clearly a violation of the Philippine election code. How ironic they're howling separation of church and state. May this blog reach every politician!
ReplyDeleteprecisely! bloc voting is against the Law! thanks be to God
ReplyDeleteINC's bloc voting is clearly a violation of the Philippine Election Code. How ironic they're howling separation of church and state. May this blog reach every politician!
ReplyDeleteThe INCM must be made accountable for all these grave violations against the Philippine constitution! Politicians who salivate on the INCM's bloc vote nurtured this organization into the monster who wants to take absolute control of our country and bypass the laws of the land.
At magbasa-basa pag my time. Don't be a PANATIC
ReplyDeleteIt's so obvious that they(INCM) are not of God because they don't know how to follow the law of men.
ReplyDeleteIt is blogs with undefiled words of God like this that make the Filipino people wise and be not subject to the follies and fallacies of groups disguising as religious.
ReplyDeleteBloc voting is against the law of God.
ReplyDelete#TheTruthCaster
dictating someone whom he has to vote is against the law of men. it violates our freedom to vote. it also not biblical.
ReplyDelete#TheTruthCaster
Bloc voting is used to get politicians paying
ReplyDeleteThanks Brod.Eli for the exposing this peculiar belief of the INC. They twisted the teachings of the Bible just to fit in their their twisted world.
ReplyDeleteThis is interesting for politicians who believe in God
ReplyDeleteWow! SsD! Ito talaga yung gusto ko din malaman. I know bawal sa batas ang bloc-voting pero yung according to the bible, this time mas malinaw na malinaw po sakin through this blog.
ReplyDeleteThis is interesting for politicians who believe in God
ReplyDeleteINCM bloc voting, nothing but their leaders way of showing power over their members! Unscontitutional and no way Biblical! Thanks be to God! More power to Mr. Controversy.
ReplyDeleteWake up!!!!!
ReplyDeleteINCM members are not LAW abiding citizens.
ReplyDeleteVery enlightening. This is totally an eye-opener! Thanks be to God for this wonderful blog!
ReplyDeleteI hope Filipinos would open their eyes including government leaders. INC claiming to be biblical but yet continue to do things against what Bible teaches. INC you have been exposed!
ReplyDeleteIt is indeed a sinister act to fool members of the INCM by forcing them to vote against their will and against the constitution. This is one proof of a false religion as being forwarned to us in the holy scriptures.
ReplyDeletebloc voting is against the law and violates our freedom to vote. it is also not biblical. this blog is very informative.
ReplyDelete#TheTruthCaster
VERY TRUE! THAT EVEN IGLESIA NI CRISTO NI MANALO DO A BLOC VOTING...THERE'S NO ENOUGH VOTE'S FROM THEIR MEMBERS AS FAR AS THE EVIDENCE'S EXPOSED FROM THE PREVIOUS ELECTION'S RESULT AND FROM THE VERSES IN THE BIBLE THAT BLOC VOTING IS NOT CHRISTIAN PRACTICES.
ReplyDeleteTHANK'S TO MR.CONTROVERSY FOR THE TRUE AND RIGHT INFORMATION'S ABOUT INCM PRACTICES ABOUT CHOOSING CANDIDATE DURING ELECTION.
Manalo violating this >>>...who DISMISSES or THREATENS to DISMISS, punishes or threatens to punish be reducing his salary, wage or compensation, or by demotion, transfer, suspension, separation, EXCOMMUNICATION..

ReplyDeletewhat a enlighting blog of mr.controversy extraordinary. bloc voting is Not BIBLICAL and againts human law
ReplyDeleteThanks be to God for this powerful and truthful blog, these days it's rare that someone is speaking about this kind of things.
ReplyDeletePersonally,I believe that this bloc-voting is a form of bullying.. The INC bullies the government to force it to follow their will. They threaten the people's rights. The government lets this false religion to meddle in the affairs of the government for quite a long time now.
I hope that the people in the government especially those who will run for positions in the next election will realize that they do not have and shouldn't be bowing to this cult.

ReplyDeleteIn this Blog, MrControversyX clearly proves that Bloc voting is not Biblical.
ReplyDeleteImposing to members who to vote is a direct action against the law of the country and specially the law of the Bible. This blog is a timely blog now that election time is at hand. Worthwhile reading. A Must to share.

ReplyDeleteThis is the truth...
ReplyDeleteWow.. This blog is worth reading.
This blog is worth reading. Thanks bro eli. I muat share this
ReplyDeleteINCM bloc voting starts corruption in Philippine politics...
ReplyDeleteStop it now! Bloc voting syndicate..I hope that there will be a government official that will uphold and forcibly enforce the law. It was very well said on this blog a blatant violation of law of forcing members to vote for someone who is against your will..and they even deny it but that is what they are doing. Thanks be to God for this wonderful, informative article of MR. ControversyX
ReplyDeleteLet the people decide whom to vote. Not forcing them
ReplyDeleteBloc voting is not Biblical and Unconstitutional. Another must read blog from MrControversyX!
ReplyDeleteINCM propagates corrupt govt official. They are to be blame for the troubles made by the govt officials. Truly this group belongs to the devil
ReplyDeleteBloc voting persuaded by Iglesia Ni Manalo is violating the Bill of Rights .
ReplyDeletethey called themselves a Christian but they are coercing their members by using threats. They are just a reflection of their faith of wrong doings .
Society bullies now unraveled....
ReplyDeleteThis blog is an eye opener to all politicians. They should read this blog.

ReplyDeleteVery informative! Hope everybody will read this especially the politicians and judges.
ReplyDeletei wonder who's going to ask for their votes now, shame shame shame!
ReplyDeleteAgain, another biblical and now, constitutional stupidity as interpreted by the INCM. Bloc voting is not Biblical and against the constitution as explained very clearly by Mr. Controversy with legal and Biblical bases.
ReplyDeleteBloc voters under the coercion of their leader are like robots, not thinking, not choosing, not picking, and most especially not voting according to their conscience.
ReplyDeleteThanks be to God!
To God be The Glory! Amen!
ReplyDeleteThanks be to God for this blog!
ReplyDeleteTHANK BE TO GOD. NO TO BLOC VOTING
ReplyDeleteFor a long time they've been like this.. and this INCM group still have the guts to demand DOJ not to meddle in their "church concerns".. fools! INCM in the first place are doing all of these unconstitutional actions, one of which is depriving their members the right to vote for their own.. Clearly showing that they do not recognize the power of the government, instead showing that they have the power over the government!
ReplyDeleteAnd their poor little members follow them blindly, which i found weird because the truth is all over the news.. and it's not that hard to know who's telling the truth.. or maybe that's how powerful their "church" to their members, even their own freewill is controlled.. Mr. Controversy's right, their so-called members are more fitting to be called robots.
Bloc voting is not Biblical and against Philippines constitution
ReplyDeleteIt is a informative and well presented article. Thanks be to God.
ReplyDeleteTo be a Christian is not to be a "robot"! Christians are free under a law called in the Bible as "law of liberty"!
ReplyDeleteVery informative blog! Thanks be to God mr. Controversy!

ReplyDeleteVery informative and detailed illustration, Thanks be to God for having us MrControversyX, hoping that there are still brave and faithful servants in the government to stop this life practicing of INCM, Wake up ``LAW ENFORCEMENT`` of the phil!!!
ReplyDeleteThis INC is obviously an anti-Christ church the way they speak and the way they act.
