A Healthy and Wise Appetizer for My Readers
As I have said, my taste buds were also deceived. I want to open this topic with a confession, as an appetizer for my readers. The Apostle Paul sometimes also talks about himself.
1 Timothy 1:13
Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.
Even in international law, something done ignorantly will not merit capital punishments.
I am also a human being; and like anybody else, I am prone to commit mistakes, although others commit them feloniously and intentionally.
Ecclesiastes 7:20
For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not.
When I was young, I am fond of eating sour fruits, with a lot of salt, and sometimes with ‘patis’ (fish sauce) and ‘bagoong’ (shrimp paste). I love them; and it is a favorite snack in the Philippines — my country of origin. As I grow older, I heard a song by Peter, Paul, and Mary in the early 60’s (I wish I can sing it for you) which has a line that goes like this:
“Lemon tree very pretty and the lemon flower is sweet.
But the fruit of the poor lemon is impossible to eat.
Lemon tree very pretty and the lemon flower is sweet.
But the fruit of the poor lemon is impossible to eat.”
This is a cover of the song “Lemon Tree” originally sang by Peter, Paul, and Mary in the 60’s
And to this, I agreed to very much then, because during those times, even oranges with a little sour taste make me crave for salt. When I started my radio ministry way back in the 80’s, because of faith in God’s word, I fasted for almost two weeks. I intended to do it more, but the load of work and my broadcasts compelled me to end my fast and taste a little food. I found in our kitchen some pieces of not-so-ripe ‘lanzones’. A brother told me that they were leftover by a brother because it is very sour. I ate some and to my surprise, I have realized the real taste of ‘lanzones’ — one of my favorite fruits, (I remembered lola Pilar who used to send my auntie Toyang to buy me two kilos of lanzones which I can finish in two sittings), which to me, after some cleansing has occurred in my body due to the fast, tastes very great!
Proverbs 27:7
The full soul loatheth an honeycomb; but to the hungry soul every bitter thing is sweet.
There is wisdom to realize what the Apostle Paul once wrote.
Philippians 4:12 (RSV)
I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound; in any and all circumstances I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and want.
Being hungry sometimes benefits the soul and the body. This is the secret of the biblical instructions of fasting.
Luke 6:21
Blessed are ye that hunger now…
To fast is to experience hunger. It makes us closer to God.
Joel 2:12
Therefore also now, saith the LORD, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning…
This is a biblical admonition even to couples who wanted to strengthen their bonds and learn self-control, necessary for maintaining fidelity with each other.
1 Corinthians 7:5
Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency.
The Health Benefits of Fasting
http://serendip.brynmawr.edu/biology/b103/f02/web1/wcarroll.html
A study was performed on earthworms that demonstrated the extension of life due to fasting. The experiment was performed in the 1930s by isolating one worm and putting it on a cycle of fasting and feeding. The isolated worm outlasted its relatives by 19 generations, while still maintaining its youthful physiological traits. The worm was able to survive on its own tissue for months. Once the size of the worm began to decrease, the scientists would resume feeding it at which point it showed great vigor and energy. “The life-span extension of these worms was the equivalent of keeping a man alive for 600 to 700 years.”
Later, in my desire to help others and myself, I studied a little of nutritional therapy and alternative medicine. There are poor people who oftentimes approach me asking some remedies for their health problems. A sense of urgency pushed me to search and research for ways to alleviate the sufferings of those poor people whom I dearly love. I love the poor because God loves them.
James 2:5
Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?
My search and research revealed to me a new world; a new understanding; and even strengthened my faith in the word of God. In all those avenues that I have traveled, I found deceit, lies, and fraud! A person suffering from high cholesterol in the blood is given doses of ‘statin’ drugs in fear of a heart attack that may follow because of high cholesterol which is the common knowledge in the medical world; but the truth is, statin drugs that blocks the production of cholesterol in the liver also blocks the production of coenzyme Q10 (COQ10), which is very important for the efficient functions of heart muscles, thus, a heart attack is likely to follow.
Quick facts:
Numerous studies confirm that statin use blocks CoQ10 production, and they also confirm the muscle weakness that occurs as a result.1-4 And don’t forget that the heart is a muscle too: 15 animal studies have shown that statin-induced depletion of CoQ10 increases heart failure, as well as overall mortality.

This truth is not being revealed by doctors who profit enormously from the benefits given by drug companies that produce statin drugs. We must condemn to the highest degree these doctors who know this fact, but still prescribe this kind of drugs.
But to those doctors that prescribe them unaware of the dangers and side effects of these drugs, I advise them to have a little research. High doses of vitamin C can prove to be therapeutic to many heart ailments, without harmful side effects. Proper supplementations of proline, lysine, and coenzyme Q10 with high doses of vitamin C can even reverse the damage in the heart of an ailing person.
THE BASIC ORTHOMOLECULAR RECOMMENDATIONS FOR CONTROLLING HEART DISEASE

NOTE: Linus Pauling specifically recommended high oral doses of vitamin C and the amino acid lysine.
Other elements in the following Pauling Therapy protocol, ordered by importance, account for many variables. These recommendations are based on the experience of more than a decade recommending Pauling’s protocol, and they feature Pauling’s earlier advice published in 1986. This protocol is designed to help overcome a poor diet, advancing age, or the use of prescription drugs commonly given to heart patients.
Truths are not being exposed, deceit is employed, and fraud is practiced even in the medical world. Thus, the Bible says:
1 Corinthians 1:19
For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.
1 Corinthians 2:6
Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to naught…
There is neither deceit nor fraud in the true wisdom that comes from God.
James 3:17
But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
I was once deceived, because I also religiously took many tablets of Lipitor prescribed by my cardiologist.
I was once deceived by my perverted taste buds that a lemon is impossible to eat without salt.
I suggest that you do a little experiment that will be of good side effects to your liver and your body as a whole. In the morning, when you break your fast (that you experienced throughout the night), have a sip of fresh lemon juice and you will appreciate the great taste of natural foods prepared by no less than the best Nutritionist — God. Even without salt, you can taste a little salty taste in pure fresh lemon juice. Now I know that the song I used to sing is not true.
“Lemon tree very pretty and the lemon flower is sweet.
But the fruit of the poor lemon is impossible to eat.
Lemon tree very pretty and the lemon flower is sweet.
But the fruit of the poor lemon is impossible to eat.”
In law, made and promulgated by man, there are deceits and frauds. There is injustice within the halls of justice in many parts of the world. In almost every human wisdom, evil, deceit, and fraud are present.
Ecclesiastes 3:16-17
And moreover I saw under the sun the place of judgment, that wickedness was there; and the place of righteousness, that iniquity was there. I said in mine heart, God shall judge the righteous and the wicked: for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work.

ReplyDeleteWisdom that comes from God is perfect. Wisdom that comes from human cannot be perfect because of deceit, fraud, and evil motives present on it. Any religion whose teachings come from men and not from God, is a false religion and should be avoided. Thanks be to God!

ReplyDeleteBest Nutritionist-God
ReplyDeleteThanks be to God and to our Lord Jesus Christ for these learnings!
Early Medicine was manifested as herbalist practicing medicine with herbs and leaves, barks and roots of plants; until today, they are still effective in a way.
ReplyDeleteThe wisest medical approach to diseases is preventive medicine.
ReplyDeleteMedical practice is now commercialized to one unit of the body making patients confused of whom to go of their ailment, and very costly at that.
